Stephanie Dewing
Dr. Stephanie Dewing is an associate professor of education, co-chair of the Master of Arts in Teaching program, and chair of the Bilingual Authorization Advisory Board at the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education. In these roles, and in her work with schools and districts across Colorado and the U.S., she supports teachers and teacher candidates with strategies to foster effective language and literacy development of multilingual and English learners in TK-12 settings. To highlight her passion for this work, she co-authored the book Teaching and Supporting English Learners: A Guide to Welcoming and Engaging Newcomers.
