Magdalena J. Ribic

Originally from North Macedonia, Magdalena brings a rich linguistic and cultural background to the CoTESOL team. She holds a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Colorado Denver. She is currently a doctoral student specializing in educational leadership, professional learning, and technology. As an English Language Development (ELD) Coordinator with over a decade of teaching experience, her guiding principle is that an interest in multiple languages and cultures leads to empathy and understanding. Her work focuses on helping emerging bilingual students become effective communicators and critical thinkers. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, opera, museums, and traveling with her family.
