Amber Pleasant - MDR, M.Ed., Program Director for Adult Education and ELL Programs at Aims Community College

Amber first discovered her passion for teaching while providing education and relief services for refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) in Southeast Asia. After years of teaching abroad and working with nonprofits and universities, she moved to Colorado to direct the Adult Education and English Language Learning Programs at Aims Community College. Her lifelong professional pursuit is building inclusive, culturally sustaining education programs and empowering educators and students to achieve their goals.
